Explanation of measurement time for airtightness tester:

1. Delay time: refers to the time after starting, waiting for the test fixture to clamp and stabilize.

2. Inflation time: Pressurizing the tested and standard components is adiabatic compression, during which there is no heat exchange with the outside world, and the air instantly heats up. The pressurization stroke generally cannot stabilize the gas temperature.

3. Balance time: Stop pressurization, cut off the air between the measured part and the standard part, and generate impact between gas molecules and the inner surface of the workpiece to exchange heat between the surface thermal energy (surface temperature) of the workpiece and the kinetic energy of gas molecules (gas molecule temperature), waiting for temperature balance.

4. Detection time: detect small leaks. Extending the detection time can eliminate the impact of errors other than leaks (adiabatic changes, deformations, etc.).

5. Exhaust time: It is the time for exhaust after the test is completed. The air inside the tested and standard parts is discharged from the exhaust port, and the temperature inside the workpiece drops at the moment of exhaust.
